Behold, Mapis Jonathan Marawes was born to the family of Mr. Mataru Jonathan Marawes, from Dares village of Butura District, Bokkos LGA, on the 4th September, 1980.

I share the same faith with my forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob had different encounters with the Most High God… given us the right and capacity in the bloodline of Christ our Redeemer and Saviour as we glow from glory to glory with the hope of being heirs in His Kingdom in Heaven.
We are Lions outa Zion inborn in the Spirit of God, recalling my crew way back; Chronic Tribes, X-members, Inborn Records, Sky Entertainment among others.
We travelled through sound to the hearts of mankind in line, “War unto Babylon” 2007, Na God Collaboration 2016, Oya Watch Eje – Kamabowa (Soulja) now based in the UK, and we keep moving.
In pursuit of academic excellence despite the prevailing challenges that we experienced I got my First Leaving School Certificate in 1995, West African School Certificate Examination in 2000, Diploma in Law in 2001, Diploma in Business Administration & Management in 2004, Diploma in Public Administration in 2009, Higher National Diploma in 2013 and a BSc in Political Science and Administration in 2015, with trust in God, more are still coming.

I am also blessed with the precious gift of a wife and two beautiful children who also share in Christ’ heritage
To the Glory of God, I receive in-depth understanding and inspiration through the Holy Spirit, as I was baptized on the 25th May, 2013.
In politicking and navigating through for better governance for my dear state, I was appointed member of Research, Documentation and Strategy in the PDP since 2018 and still serving, we kept balling formation to the Glory of God we had victory and brought today’s present leadership back in Plateau for its greater growth and development.
I have gone through enormous challenges and God has been faithful as His promises that He will never leave us alone nor forsake us.
Christ made me prevailed spiritually in manifesting truth which is the reason am back singing praises of his beauty “But many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His Name” Jn 1:12 KJV. Amen and a louder Amen!!

Having a vision and mission that is divine from Zion I move in tune with God on the Plateau:
A land of our Dreams, beyond the limit of tribe and ethnic differences coexisting with a bond of unity in it’s steadfastness and love for a succeeding people.

In Christ our Lord and saviour is Love and unity. In unity our calling definitely right from inception. Our mothers womb formed the beauty of a blessed and a royal nation in fullness of all the spiritual potentials only rooted in Jesus Christ our Assurance and Hope for eternity.
